Autumn 1 - Update
Our topic in DT was Healthy Snacks. We tasted different fruits and chose our favourite. Then we used this to design our own fruit kebabs. We had to prepare and chop up the fruit we chose and carefully put them on the skewers. Finally we had to evaluate our kebabs and decide it we could make them even better.
In science we have been exploring our senses. We explored the question 'what does food taste like?'. We tasted different foods and described the different tastes. The lemon juice had mixed reviews!
We have explored our hearing sense by creating gigantic elephant ears and going on a sound walk round school. We stampeded around listening for different sounds, and even got applauded through the hall!
We have been spotting lots of signs of Autumn outside, we loved collecting autumn treasures such as conkers and colourful leaves!
