Nursery
Autumn 2
This term we have loved getting ready to celebrate Christmas.
We have made baubles for the Lidl Halton Christmas tree and some of our lovely families joined the choir to sing. It was great!
We have enjoyed exploring a range of creative activities and we loved making our own wrapping paper. We have enjoyed a Christmas party and learned some new games, such as, pass the parcel, musical statues and corners.
We loved Christmas dinner day and enjoyed wearing our Christmas jumpers to school. It was delicious!

Autumn 1
What a term we have had! Nursery have enjoyed settling into new routines and boundaries and we have had lots of fun together. We have loved exploring the outdoors, we have enjoyed conker hunts and leaf hunts and we can’t wait to see where our learning progresses.
We are learning to use our bodies to make marks, we have had lots of tummy time to help strengthen our core muscles.
We have loved joining in with some parachute games, including songs like “Autumn leaves are falling down” and “Wibble wobble jelly on a plate!”
Introduction from the Teacher
Hello! My name is Miss O'Boyle and I would like to give you a warm welcome to Nursery!
Nursery is one of my favourite year groups to teach because each day is so different. In Nursery, we work super hard on developing good manners and speaking fluently.
We love the outdoors so please make sure that you wear warm clothes during the winter months as we love to explore. Nursery is all about making new friends and fostering a positive attitude towards learning. The Nursery team can not wait to meet you!
