Reception Uniform

At Templenewsam Halton Primary School, we have high standards – we are proud to be from Templenewsam Halton and therefore, we wear our uniform with pride.

 All items to be labelled with at least initial of first name and FULL surname to enable the item to be returned if lost.

• School Royal Blue jumper or cardigan
• Dark grey trousers / Summer – Dark grey trouser shorts (no casual shorts)
• Dark grey skirt or pinafore dress / Summer – Royal Blue gingham dress
• Plain white Polo Shirt
• Plain grey, black or dark blue tights or plain white, black or grey socks
• Black shoes/short boots/plain black trainers. Please note that short boots should be plain with no fur/metal accessories.

In addition, these items are necessary and need to be left in school

• PE Bag
• Wellies
• Waterproofs
• Black Pumps (Would recommend pumps with a Velcro fastener not pull on as these make it easy for the child to be independent.)
• Change of clothing including underwear (if appropriate)

PE Kit

• Plain White T-shirt
• Plain Black shorts – no coloured stripes/ticks/laces/logos
• Plain Black jogging bottoms/leggings and tracksuit top – no coloured stripes/ticks/laces/logos
• Plain black or white trainers suitable for indoor and outdoor use - no fluorescent marks

On PE days, pupils will come into school wearing their PE kits. We are also considering whether to include a School Hoodie to form part of the PE kit. This will be reviewed over the coming school year and you will be given notice should it come into effect.

Accessories

• Plain bobbles and headbands are allowed in school – school colours blue, black, grey. No oversized colourful scrunchies, headbands and bows.
• Watches and stud earrings are the only forms of jewellery allowed in school.
• Nail varnish and make up should not be worn.

• Royal Blue bookbag with logo (Reception to Year 4)
• If you wish to purchase a School PE Bag with the new logo, these are also available from the supplier.

The School jumpers, cardigans and bags can be purchased from SPT Uniform which has a store and an online purchasing option.

The store is located in Garforth, which is on a main bus/rail route from the local area and the address is 115 Main Street, Garforth Leeds LS25 1AF.

The opening hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm, (Closed Wednesday) Saturday 10am – 1pm.

The online purchasing platform - https://www.sptuniforms.co.uk/ - offers a variety of options in terms of delivery via either Royal Mail or a courier:

• Free Delivery on orders over £30
• £1.99 delivery on orders under £30
• Free Click and Collect – order online and collect in store
• Free Click and Delivery through school – order online and once a week the items will be delivered to school and distributed out through class – with no additional cost. This will be during term time only and once your child has started school.
