Data Protection
At Templenewsam Halton Primary School, we understand the critical importance of safeguarding the personal data of our students, parents, staff, and wider community. Our commitment to data protection is fundamental to maintaining the trust and confidence you place in us.
We adhere to robust data protection practices and comply with all relevant regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As part of our commitment, we have established comprehensive Trust-wide privacy notices, which you can access here.
Designated Data Protection Lead
To ensure that all data protection queries and requests are managed efficiently and effectively, we have appointed a designated Data Protection Lead, Mr. Luke Finch our Business & Operations Manager, within our school. The Data Protection Lead is responsible for supporting all formal Subject Access Requests (SAR) and Freedom Of Information (FOI) requests. They will liaise with the relevant staff and agencies on your behalf to collate the necessary data and ensure that your requests are handled promptly and securely.
Our Data Protection Lead is your first point of contact for any data protection concerns or inquiries. We are committed to providing transparent and accessible information about how we manage your data, and we will work diligently to address any questions or concerns you may have.
To make a SAR/FOI request then please submit the relevant forms on the right.
Ensuring Data Safety
We are dedicated to implementing stringent security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our staff are trained regularly on data protection best practices, and we continually review and update our policies and procedures to reflect the latest standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement
Data protection is an ongoing priority for us, and we are constantly seeking ways to improve our practices. We value your feedback and welcome any suggestions on how we can further enhance our data protection efforts.
Thank you for your trust and cooperation. Together, we can ensure a secure and protected environment for everyone in our school community.
