Years 4, 5 and 6 Shine in Collaborative DT Project with Temple Moor High School
Once the designs were completed, each class selected a winning concept to take forward. The chosen students then visited Temple Moor High School, where they had the chance to bring their designs to life using specialist tools and equipment. This experience not only enhanced their practical skills but also gave them a taste of what DT looks like at secondary level.
The staff at Temple Moor were full of praise for our pupils, commenting on their enthusiasm, creativity, and exemplary behaviour. They described the children as a true credit to TNHPS—and we couldn’t agree more!
We are incredibly proud of all the students who took part in this project. Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication have been truly inspiring. A huge thank you to the staff at Temple Moor High School for their support and collaboration, and to our own teachers for guiding the children through such a memorable learning experience.
