Our Houses
As soon as children start at school they are put into one of six houses. The houses were chosen by staff, pupils and parents and represent a varied cross section of influential and inspiring people. The chosen people draw from a diverse range of backgrounds and are celebrated with 6 ‘House themed’ weeks during the year. During those weeks, pupils get to take part in activities inspired by the house founder.
The houses and mottos are:
- Attenborough- "Be the change"
- Earhart - "Dreams are flying high"
- Francis - "Be your own competition"
- Maathai - "Crowded as we grow"
- Sinfield - "Dedicated people achieve their dreams”
- Francis - "Determined. Nurturing. Ambitious."

Congratulations Sinfield House!

On Friday 23rd of January all children from Sinfield House were invited to a 'Reward Day' as a result of their victory in the first term of our house points competition.
The event took place in the large hall and the children had access to a whole host of activities. These included a craft table where children could decorate plant pots or create something of their own choosing. There was an art station where children got the chance to paint and draw. Some children picked up needles and thread and did some sewing. One of the children even made a pencil case out of felt! Along one side of the hall we set up an indoor curling arena where a fierce competition got underway with matches between Red and Blue teams! Some children simply enjoyed the opportunity to have a chill out moment on the mats whilst watching the Minions film and others enjoyed time building with Lego and playing with a selection of toys. The morning was topped off with light refreshments (a drink and biscuits) before the children returned to class. It was a lovely way to spend a morning and the children all enjoyed themselves. Well done to Sinfield for your win and for having a brilliant morning.
