The Library was officially reopened on Thursday 14th November when the children celebrated 'all things penguin'. The day was themed around Julia Donaldson’s new book ‘Jonty Gentoo’.

There was writing, art, comic strips and research projects as well as trips to the library throughout the day and a well-deserved ice cream at the end, kindly donated by Mr Whippy.

The penguin theme has been extremely popular with the children who were involved in making the penguins during the summer term as part of the week long Peter Baldry Art Project, partially funded by the school PTFA. The library will be a continual focal point of reading and education throughout the school life of all children in school.
