Key Stage 1 raise money for Little Hiccups

Key Stage One have been fundraising for the charity ‘Little Hiccups’. They are a Leeds based charity who support families who have children with additional needs. They provide advice, courses and host fun days for families, and show that there are no limits to having fun! We began the project by inviting Miriam from Little Hiccups into our school, so that we could learn about the charity.
Key stage 1 has held three fundraising events to raise money for the charity over the last term. We held a raffle, hosted an after-school film night and completed a sponsored walk of 3 miles!
We then invited Miriam and Noel back into school and the children spoke about the events we have been doing! We also shared our final total and a giant cheque. Miriam and Noel said they were ‘blown away’, with the total of… £2469.67!
